U.S. voluntary recall of Chinese anti-mosquito LED bulbs may cause loss of electric shock

Recently, the US Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) and Creative Sourcing International, Inc. jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese mosquito-killing LED bulbs.

The recalled product is a HAUS ZapBulb 2-in-1 mosquito lamp LED bulb. The 10 watt bulb has a white grid housing measuring approximately 3.1 inches high, 3.1 inches wide, and 6.1 inches thick.

The grid shell has a blue light that attracts insects, and the lower LED light is used for illumination. Only recall bulbs without any marks or labels. The product number is printed on the product package IK 3000.

The recalled products were sold in Lowes and other retail stores in the US from May 2013 to September 2016, and approximately 11,500 units (some 20,000 sold in Canada) were sold at Lowes and other online stores in the United States. Between $90. The reason for the recall is that the base of the lamp may be detached from the connector, posing a risk of electric shock. As of now, the company has received two reports of the detachment of the light bulb from the connector. No reports of personal injury and property damage have been received.

The US Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using recalled products and contact Creative Sourcing for replacement bulbs, including shipping, disassembly, and replacement instructions.
