2017 F8 conference 8 VR keynote content exposure from Baidu VR

The annual F8 Conference is the Facebook Developers Conference. At this conference, the future technology is generally displayed, and Facebook is connected to the world through product innovation. This F8 Developer Conference site is located at the San Jose McEnery Conference Center. It is April 18-19.

Facebook has just opened its registration for the F8 2017 conference. At the same time, the theme of VR's speech has also been made public. There are a total of 8 themes.

April 18

1:00 PM How to make a compelling narrative in VR

Description: Sit down with a first-rate VR filmmaker and talk about how to make a stunning VR movie, whether it's 360 live video or real-time rendering.

Moderator: Oculus's Colum Slevin (Head of Experiences), Felix & Paul Studios' Félix Lajeunesse (co-founder and Creative Director), Scatter's Yasmin Elayat (Creative Director), filmmaker and VR Director Eliza McNitt.

2:00 PM WebVR: Let developers build cross-platform VR content

Description: Web-based frameworks (such as React VR) make it easier to create VR content that can be distributed across VR, mobile devices, and the Web. Join us and we will show the potential of React VR in areas such as travel, news, and business.

Speaker: Michael Antonov (Chief Software Architect), Oculus, Andrew Mo (Product Manager), Oculus

5:00 PM Bring VR Experience to Everyone: Scripting, Production and Planning

Description: Learn how to develop VR experiences and turn projects from creative ideas into content. Get tips and tricks for best practices.

Speakers: Facebook's Megan Summers (Global Production Director), Oclena's Yelena Rachitsky (Executive Producer), Julia Sourikoff, VR Playhouse's Christina Heller (CEO), Felix and Paul Studios' Ryan Horrigan (CCO).

VR Together: Add social components to your VR application

Description: Interactive and fun social experiences promote more consumer participation in VR. This lecture will highlight Oculus's addition of social layer APIs and features to your application, including Avatar SDK, VoIP, Invites, and Oculus Rooms.

Speaker: Mike Howard (product manager), Oculus, Lauren Vegter (product manager), Oculus

April 19

12:30 PM Creating Social Presence in VR (VR Social)

Description: VR Social has a number of fascinating challenges, from designing avatars, avoiding "strange valleys," to deciding what tools and spaces best promote interaction.

Speaker: Mike Booth (Product Manager), Facebook

VR 201: VR game development difficult case

Description: We will share some of the obstacles engineers will face and how they will solve them. Attendees can gain insights from code examples, tools, design tips, and more.

Speaker: Chris Pruett (Partner Engineering Manager), Oculus

1:30 PM Building Social VR Experience

Description: In the new field of social VR development, choosing the right tools and methods can be daunting. We will discuss best practices for building a social VR experience.

Speaker: Daniel James (Product Manager) Facebook, Lucy Bradshaw (Product Manager) Facebook

React VR: Build an Amazing VR Experience with React

Description: Learn how React VR is built on React Native, and how support layers and libraries interact. We will take you through an example VR web application built using React VR and show how easy it is to create an immersive experience on VR, mobile, and the web.

Speaker: Andrew Imm (Software Engineer), Facebook, Mike Armstrong (Software Engineer), Oculus / Facebook

The above is the 8 keynote speeches of the VR in the F8 conference. If interested students can register to participate.

Fast Recovery Stud Diode

Fast Recovery Diode (FRD) is a semiconductor diode with good switching characteristics and short reverse recovery time. It is mainly used in switching power supplies, PWM pulse width modulators, inverters and other electronic circuits as high-frequency rectifier diodes. Free-wheeling or damper diodes are used. The internal structure of the fast recovery diode is different from that of an ordinary PN junction diode. It belongs to a PIN junction diode, that is, a base region I is added between the P-type silicon material and the N-type silicon material to form a PIN silicon wafer. Since the base area is thin and the reverse recovery charge is small, the fast recovery diode has a short reverse recovery time, a low forward voltage drop, and a high reverse breakdown voltage (withstanding voltage).
