Heroes are young! 13-year-old Hong Kong boy builds smart glasses

[PConline News] Smart glasses are actually not Google's patents. In fact, many manufacturers also have the ability to create smart glasses. However, recently, a 13-year-old boy from Hong Kong has successfully invented his own smart glasses. How powerful is it? Let's take a look together.

The 13-year-old from Hong Kong, named Jordan Fung, recently committed himself to creating a pair of smart glasses based on the Arduino platform, Pedosa Glass.

It is reported that the core of Pedosa Glass is an Arduino Nano development board, and this developer has also developed an "operating system" specifically for it. The front of the smart glasses has a small FLCOS display on which the video signal from the Arduino development board is projected. There are also three buttons installed on the glasses, two of which are control buttons and the other is the Home button. In addition, Pedosa Glass is also equipped with ultra-high brightness white LED, which can be used as a flashlight when necessary.

Although the Pedosa Glass application is still relatively poor, there are only two functions to choose from: clocks and flashlights, but their functions are very complete. In the next stage, Jordan Fung will add more applications for smart glasses and add more features, such as Bluetooth connectivity, or use a 3D printer to make shells for them.

Comments: I still remember that at the age of 13 we were still rushing home all day.
