Seagate 5TB Buckup Plus Hard Disk Second

Foreword I recently purchased Seagate's 2TB hard drive back in April, but after some issues, I decided to upgrade. Stability has always been my priority since my home computer doesn't require top-notch speed. However, the recent problems made me rethink my setup. Alongside upgrading, I also decided to add another hard drive. Reasons for Purchase This is my second 5TB hard drive. Honestly, I didn’t have much to say about it other than the fact that I enjoy playing some games and storing files. Everyone knows how tough it is out there, so kudos to all the couriers! [Image: http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/8d/03/10/bb95eeab64c895f2ef6201f104.jpg] The long-awaited 5TB drive finally arrived. While 8TB might be cheaper later during Black Friday, 5TB is sufficient for now. I recall older versions had fewer accessories, but I’m not sure why the box feels so large now. It doubles as a mirror, but unfortunately, it’s a fingerprint magnet. Should I cover it with a screen protector or tape? Maybe investing in an air purifier is a good idea. [Image: http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/98/bd/ff/94c31e74296c54fc6d6f78f32f.jpg] Same old USB 3.0 interface and charging port. Experience and Feelings I’ve been using Seagate hard drives and Rui Wing core products for years, moving from 1TB to 2TB and now 5TB. Generally, they’ve been reliable, though some users report noise issues. Occasionally, the sound is low, but it hasn’t been a major issue. This mirrored design is quite frustrating—it collects fingerprints easily. Compared to the previous version, aside from the mirror finish and dense thermal holes, there’s not much difference. Still, the old version feels more practical to me. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t support XP anymore. My next goal is to jump to 8TB and keep cheering myself on. I’ll wait for the right time to upgrade to 8TB, but for now, 5TB works fine for my needs.
