The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission said that Shenzhen can win awards in the competition of many cities, mainly in recent years, it has achieved good results in the circular economy. At present, the city has placed a development of circular economy, promote energy conservation and emission reduction in a prominent strategic position, and strive to continue to play a "leadership" role in building low-carbon cities.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shenzhen is conducting a feasibility study on establishing a carbon trading market, and plans to explore the carbon trading model with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange as a platform. In addition, it will speed up the establishment of the emissions trading market and accumulate experience for carbon trading through COD emissions trading.
The selection was sponsored by the National Science and Technology Revitalization Urban Economic Research Association and other units. It is one of the highest and most large-scale low-carbon economic events in China.
