Sha Xiaotong: The lighting features of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games have used a lot of modern digital technology projectors. We have completed two projects in the Bird's Nest this time. One is the 360-degree splicing of the entire bowl, which is 500 meters long. Reporter: With such an installation design, what effect do you expect to achieve?
Sha Xiaotong: At the time we were watching the venue in the Bird's Nest, we were very careful about the 14-meter-high 500-meter-long bowl side. A year and a half ago, we looked for Christie, including its Beijing representative office, and invited their American engineers to China to communicate technically with us. We did experiments for about three or four months, including other foreign companies and we did it together for three months. The earliest we did the experiment, because the projection area of ​​the bowl side is 220 meters long and the short axis projection area also needs 140 meters. When we first experimented in the Bird's Nest, its effect was far from meeting the technical requirements of our broadcast video. We took two sets and used three stacks.
