A city landscape lamp called LED has quietly lit the night of Sioux City. At present, nearly 80% of Suzhou's 140,000-inch urban landscape lights have been transformed into LEDs. At the same time, LED will gradually enter the street lamp family. LED is widely used in landscape lighting with low carbon, low energy consumption and low pollution. It is suitable for some low-power landscape lights. Due to the technical difficulties, some high-power landscape lights are still not replaceable. As a street lamp with high energy consumption and high power, LED has a long way to go to play the leading role. Suzhou Urban Lighting Management Office has begun to study the application of LED in street lamps.
Since 2007, Suzhou Urban Lighting Management Office has started to strictly control energy saving from engineering design and equipment selection. The lighting source uses green lighting products to carry out energy-saving renovation of 1422 street lamps. According to estimates, through energy-saving renovation and new energy-saving methods such as midnight light operation, the power saving in 2007 was 2.68 million degrees, and the annual electricity saving rate was 7.3%. In 2008, Suzhou City Lighting Management Office completed the energy-saving renovation of 1032 sets of street lamps. The 3563 20W ramp lights of the West Ring, South Ring Elevated and Youxin Overpass were changed into 3W LED-induced lights. In the ancient city style belt, the cold light cup lamp with high energy consumption on the original railing column was changed to LED light. After the renovation of the building lighting, the original large amount of energy-saving flood light was changed to LED light. In the same year, the new energy-saving project achieved a power saving of 2.08 million degrees, and the annual power saving rate was 5.6%.
Ye Feng, deputy director of the Suzhou City Lighting Management Office, said that all the street lights with power of more than 250W in this year's new project were equipped with variable power ballasts. It will continue to promote energy-saving retrofits, and use energy-saving, variable-power ballasts and energy-saving lamps to save energy. At the beginning of the year, it is necessary to comprehensively test the running buck energy saver, variable power ballast and energy-saving lamps, master the operation status and analyze the reliability of the operation. On this basis, the application will be further promoted, and 700 sets of variable-power ballasts will be installed and 1000 yuan of energy-saving lamps will be promoted in Xincun Community. On the basis of repeated test comparisons, LED street lights will be tested this year. Take Siheng (Ganjiang Road, Sanxiang Road-Daoqian Street, Nanhuan Road, Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to the south of Xincheng District), Siheng (Donghuan Road, Xihuan Road, Renmin Road, Tonglu Road), and the Three Centers Qianshi, Shilu, Nanmen), three entrances and exits (Sujiahang Expressway Suzhou City entrance and exit, Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Suzhou City entrance and exit, Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Suzhou New District entrance and exit), Yihe (Huangucheng River) for construction focus, implementation of Suzhou landscape lighting upgrade Engineering, new construction and optimization of landscape lighting facilities.
