Then to supply MOCVD to Huacan Optoelectronics, Zhonghao Optoelectronics completed the process of domestic MOCVD from research and development, trial production to marketization.
In the view of Dr. Zhang Wei, chief technology officer and vice president of Zhonghao Optoelectronics, although the domestically produced equipment has made initial progress in the high-end process of LED, the domestic MOCVD equipment still has a long way to go. The increase in domestic MOCVD manufacturers means that the LED core technology is no longer monopolized by foreign companies. It is undeniable that the domestic MOCVD has only achieved initial results, and it is still to be improved in key processes and technologies.
At the 2013 High-tech LED Conference, on the afternoon of November 25th, Dr. Zhang Wei will give a keynote speech on “Exploration of the Localization of MOCVD Equipment†by the chip equipment and materials sponsored by Tiantong Gaoxin Group.
Dr. Zhang Wei said that the premise of localization of MOCVD equipment is that the performance of domestic MOCVD should be excellent and meet the development needs of the industry. At the same time, MOCVD localization also needs the support of epitaxial chip companies and the policy support of the country.
