Their official website clearly states that they have been supplying DDR3 and DDR4 DRAM chips for a long time. This time, the domestic DDR4 comes from Ziguang Guoxin, a subsidiary of Ziguang Group. The company owns several subsidiaries, including Xi'an Ziguang Guoxin, Shenzhen Guowei, and Ziguang Tongchuang.
According to their official website, "Ziguang Guoxin is a listed company within the Ziguang Group, focusing on the design and development of integrated circuit chips. It emphasizes stable operations, continuous innovation, and open cooperation. It is currently one of the leading suppliers of integrated circuit chip design and system integration solutions in China." Their DRAM technology was acquired from Qimonda Xi'an, which gives them the expertise and production capacity to develop and manufacture DDR memory.

However, the previously rumored DDR4 memory was actually DDR3 from Xi'an Guoxin. Ziguang has stated that DDR4 is not yet in mass production and is still under development. Despite this, the official website of Xi'an Guoxin mentions that they can supply various types of DDR memory, including SDR, DDR2, DDR3, and even DDR4, suggesting that they are now capable of producing DDR4 memory chips and modules.
But here’s the catch: when you check their product page, they only list DDR3 specifications. They offer a minimum core capacity of 512Mb and a maximum of 4Gb for DDR3 chips. The voltage ranges between 1.35V and 1.5V, and the frequency is relatively low, starting at 1066MHz and going up to 1866MHz.
This suggests that while DDR4 may be in development, the current focus is more on DDR3. Still, the fact that a domestic company is working on DDR4 is a significant step forward for China's semiconductor industry.
