Powerstax introduces new DC/DC converters for fast-growing LED lighting. This compact, high-efficiency DC/DC converter has a wide input range of 11-36VDC and a variable 100mA-2A constant current single output. Powering a single LED to 9 LED arrays.
The new product offers two digital controls that allow the brightness designer to maximize flexibility. An IIC bus allows the output current to be set to ensure that the correct power is supplied to the LEDs or arrays used. The second control input is used for the PWM signal, allowing the output of the LED lamp to be variable.
The new Powerstax DC/DC converter measures only 61 x 61 x 20mm and has a typical operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C.
