The CX2077x is the industry's first USB audio integrated circuit (IC) that integrates an on-chip digital signal processor (DSP), tri-color LED pulse width modulation (PWM), and LED driver in a single chip package. The new family of products includes RGB (red, green, and blue) PWM LED controllers and drivers to help audio designers develop easy-to-use, differentiated end products. Each LED output has an 8-bit pixel PWM controller with its own brightness and dimming control. The tri-color PWM LED driver helps to design an easy-to-see, energy-efficient product that displays LED on and off status, power standby mode, and other status indications.
In addition, both product lines use Conexant's award-winning on-chip DSPs, running proprietary speech processing algorithms and audio post-processing effects to significantly improve sound quality and reduce processing power for other applications.
