Diodes introduces two new low dropout linear regulators (LDOs) designed for industrial temperature ranges, from -40°C to +85°C. These devices are ideal for applications such as set-top boxes, routers, and LCD displays. The AP7335 offers 300mA output with a 150mV voltage drop, while the AP7365 provides 300mA with a 300mV drop. Both models support adjustable and fixed output voltages with 2% accuracy across the entire industrial temperature range.
Featuring a wide input voltage range of 2V to 6V, these LDOs allow output voltages to be adjusted from 0.8V up to 5V. They also offer fixed voltage options including 0.8V, 1.0V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.0V, 2.5V, 2.8V, 3.0V, 3.3V, and 3.9V. Their ultra-low quiescent current of 35μA makes them perfect for battery-powered or low-power systems where energy efficiency is critical.
The AP73xx series is optimized for use with low ESR 1μF multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), enhancing system stability and reducing overall design costs. Additionally, these regulators deliver up to 65dB of power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) at 1kHz, ensuring clean and stable power for sensitive applications like audio and RF circuits.
Built with robust protection features, the Diodes LDOs include overcurrent, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection to ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.
