Suning Appliance's original Laox appliance chain, which was originally planned to turn around in a year and a half, failed to do so. In June 2009, China's home appliance chain giant Suning Appliance acquired a 27.36% stake in Laox, a long-established Japanese home appliance chain that has suffered significant losses, thus becoming the old Japanese appliance chain with nearly 80 years of history.
