Large-size LED backlight market price war is about to start

At the beginning of the LED backlight TV in early 2009, there were three different camps in the global TV factory: First, a few brands such as Hisense, Samsung, and Sharp have established the strategic focus of LED TV, and the products have entered the market in an all-round way; It is TCL, Konka and other enterprises, still in the wait-and-see state, just LED TV as one of the many selling points; the third is represented by Changhong, Philips, Hitachi, there is no enterprise involved in the manufacture of LED TV.

In 2009, through its own resource integration, Samsung successfully achieved an annual sales target of 2.5 million units and took the lead in successfully opening the LED TV market. Since the second half of 2009, major brands have announced their entry into the LED TV market and have high expectations for 2010 sales.

At that time, a report from the Samsung Research Institute showed that global LED TV shipments will reach 25 million units in 2010, and the penetration rate will increase to 16%, which is five times higher than last year's 4 million units. It is expected to be global in 2013. The volume will challenge 170 million units and the penetration rate will reach 79%. At the end of 2009, Samsung gave the LED TV sales target for the new year – 10 million units in 2010. However, after 9 months, Samsung revealed that it will cut its 1 million sales forecast.

In 2010, global LCD TV shipments will increase from the 143 million units in 2009 to 173 million units in 2010, an increase of 20.9% year-on-year. The growth rate has dropped significantly from 39.1% in 2009. Similarly, from January to June this year, domestic LCD TV demand increased by 35% compared with the same period of last year to reach 10.5 million units, but the growth rate has dropped by 17%, indicating that the market demand speed has indeed begun to slow down. GLII monitors the sales data of LED TV brands in major domestic stores in October. According to sales figures, Hisense and Skyworth are leading Samsung, but sales of Samsung are higher than domestic brands such as Hisense. At present, the average selling price of LED TVs of foreign brands such as Samsung is still maintained at 10,000 yuan, while the domestic average price has fallen to less than 5,000 yuan.

Domestic and joint ventures, new products and old products, old stocks and new inventory between the melee, 2011 domestic LED TV price war may be fully erupted. The downstream price war will eventually have an indirect impact on the LED midstream. In the middle of the year, Samsung lowered its forecast. If the LED TV sales volume did not change significantly at the end of the year, the inventory of the whole machine plant continued to be slow. In the first half of 2011, LED chips and devices may have an unfavorable situation of low price increase.

B. Specific property for usage of 110KV~220KV XLPE high-voltage cable

1. Cable`s conductor highest working temperature is allowed up to 90℃, and overload when meet an emergency is 130℃ ,When short circuit (in ≤5 seconds) the highest temperature is 250℃

2. When installing or laying cable, the ambient temperature should be less than -20℃, and have to give a preheat to cable.

3. The minimum bending diameter:

After laying: 30D0

During laying: 40D0

4. Allowed biggest axial traction force to outer diameter when laying cable (not consider the radial lateral

pressure at bent section) T=K×core NO. ×section (kg), in formula, the coefficient K value should be: the copper core get 7, the aluminum core get 4.

5. Allowed biggest lateral-press P, when cable is being bent

The single core cable is required P≤500kg/m.

P=T/R (T is indicated axial traction force; R is indicated radius of bent-wheel), Knowing from above formula, as the traction force is made up by length and weight of cable. So it lets P to applying requirement as above. Then the diameter of bent-wheel should be widened.

6. Cable laying is not being restricted by drop.
