Industry growth troubles

Moreover, due to the fact that the specifications of traditional lamps have been standardized and the manufacturing cost can be reduced, the degree of customization of LED lighting is high, resulting in low capacity utilization. At the same time, China's LED lighting industry's entire industry resources are scattered, there is no scale, resulting in enterprises can only import high-priced chips from abroad, low bargaining power, so that the cost remains high. In addition, because it is an emerging market, in addition to chip manufacturers, the LED lighting market is dominated by two types of enterprises, one is from the chip packaging link to the final product, all the links are in their own hands, so the company's investment is thousands Another type of enterprise is to purchase and package the light source to develop application products, and then solve the problem of circuit heat dissipation and driving power. These enterprises often face technical problems. Once the technology is backward, they will lose market share or even lose money. Form a vicious circle.

If these problems are not solved well, it will always hinder the development of LED lighting products.

To this end, Zhang Huming suggested encouraging local governments to vigorously promote the application of LED lights and policy support, and take the lead in municipal engineering and public institutions, such as government buildings, hospitals, schools, urban trunk roads, tunnels, etc., not only for enterprises. At the same time, update testing methods and equipment to develop uniform testing standards in the industry. At present, there are many manufacturers in China that can do LED lights, and the technical level is uneven, which leads to chaotic competition in the industry, which greatly affects the quality and credibility of LED lights and weakens users' confidence. Empirical evidence shows that the source of these problems is mainly from the chip and its packaging process. Therefore, it is recommended that high-power LED lighting applications should refer to the international NIST standard, that is, the optical power of the chip should not be less than 300 milliwatts, and must be certified and authorized by the chip manufacturer when purchasing.
