Samsung launches sweeping robot VR7000 for voice control
At CES 2017, Samsung launched its POWERbot VR7000 sweeping robot to support Amazon Echo interconnect for voice control. Voice control is a new technology for sweeping robots.
Samsung said that its WiFi-connected POWERbot sweeping robots have Alexa voice control. In early December 2016, Samsung introduced its POWERbot Turbo VR9350 sweeping robot.
This upgraded POWERbot VR7000 won the 2017 CES Innovation Award. At less than 4 inches tall, it is 28% smaller than the previous Samsung sweeping robot, so it's very easy to clean the hard-to-clean places under the chair and sofa. With a suction of 20 watts, it is equipped with an 11-inch wide cleaning brush that sweeps a half inch wall.
Samsung said that the POWERbot VR7000 sweeping robot uses Visionary Mapping Plus technology and a complete set of sensors to map the space, remembering the cleaning position, detecting and resolving any obstacles.
The POWERbot VR7000 automatically adjusts the suction according to the ground conditions. Therefore, when the POWERbot VR7000 moves from a hardwood floor to a carpet or carpet, the motor adjusts the suction on the surface for optimum performance. This sweeping robot can be controlled via the app on your phone.
