At the same time, our Snapdragon brand has become synonymous with ultra-fast and reliable LTE connectivity. This is why we have extended the Snapdragon brand to a split LTE multimode modem. From smartphones and laptops to USB modems and personal hotspots, our split LTE multimode modems continue to bring advanced LTE connectivity to a variety of endpoints.

For example, the Qualcomm Gobi 9x45 modem will be renamed to the Qualcomm Opteron X12 LTE modem. This is to say another important change that we are currently pushing.

The answer is even more pronounced with the new Snapdragon LTE modem hierarchy: the Snapdragon X12 LTE modem (formerly known as the Gobi 9x45) is more powerful than the X10 LTE modem integrated with the Snapdragon 810 processor.
The new LTE modem hierarchy will be available for our processors and split modem solutions. We expect a large number of design and LTE launches in 2015 and beyond, including all Opteron processors announced after the second half of 2014 and all discrete modem products after the 9x25 model.
