Avago's new high-power LED products for lighting

In order to adapt to applications such as backlighting, advertising signs and contour lighting, Avago Technologies is pushing the new high-power 3WLED product ASMT-Ax3x. The product is aimed at architectural lighting, retail display lighting and decorative lighting.
ASMT-Ax3x is packaged in a heat-resistant and UV-resistant resin composite. Due to its excellent heat dissipation capability, the thermal resistance is only 10 °C/W. The electrically insulated metal thermal contacts allow the LED array to be connected to a shared heat sink. Simplify heat-related design.
At the same time, the product provides good photometric output consistency with a wide viewing angle of 140°. It can provide a luminous output of 113lm from a driving current of 350mA, and has a junction temperature of up to 135 °C. The LED has a 16kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) capability and is not susceptible to ESD, so no special ESD protection equipment is required for installation. In addition, this 3WLED is also compatible with the IR reflow process.
